Obituary Hazel Bremer:
Hazel Smith, age 93, of Zeeland, passed into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, April 26, 2014, at Providence Healthcare in Zeeland.
Hazel was a member of Noordelos Christian Reformed Church. She was a beautician for many years at Otte's Salon in Holland. Hazel was a wonderful and loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Gary L. Smith in 2009; her son, Gary A. Smith in 2013; her parents, Andrew and Johanna Bremer; brothers and sisters, Andrew Bremer Jr., Harriet and Frank Brieve; brothers and sisters-in-law, Lucille Lokers, Richard and Harriet Smith, Norman Smith, Robert and Marge Smith, Henry and Irene Smith, and Gertrude and Jerry Mulder.
She is survived by her children, Nancy and John Oudshoorn, James and Dawn Smith; daughter-in-law, Diane Smith; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Myrna and Roger Naber; brothers and sisters-in-law, Howard Lokers, Darla Smith, Kathy Bremer; many nephews and nieces.
Private burial will take place at Pilgrim Home Cemetery. Obituary Andrew Junior Bremer:
Died: Sunday, November 25, 2007
Andrew Junior Bremer of Fraser, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2007, following complications from a stroke. He served 27 years as the city manager of Grosse Pointe Farms retiring in 1991.
Mr. Bremer was a devoted husband and father. He met Kathryn, his wife of 56 years, while both were attending Hope College in Holland, Mich.
After his retirement, he and his wife spent winters in New Smyrna Beach, Fla. They have many fond memories of their times there.
Mr. Bremer's greatest enjoyment, however, came from his children, grandchildren and extended family.
He is survived by his wife, Kathryn; children Pamela and Brandt Droska and Jeffrey and Christine Bremer; and grandfamily Shane Caughey, Thomas, Adam and Devin Bremer, Jamie, John, Morgan and Emma Clausen, and Amber, Ed and Madison.
He also is survived by his dear sister, Harriett Brieve.
Per his wishes, Mr. Bremer was cremated and a private service was held in his honor.

of Fraser went to heaven on November 25, 2007 following stroke complications. He was a devoted husband to Kathryn for 56 years and a dedicated father to Pamela and Brandt Droska and Jeffrey and Christine Bremer. Andy's great enjoyment came from his grandfamily of Shane Caughey, Thomas, Adam and Devin Bremer, Jamie, John, Morgan and Emma Clausen and Amber, Ed and Madison. Andy also leaves his dear sister Harriett Brieve. Andy and Kathy have enjoyed great times spent at their second home in New Smyrna Beach, Florida over the past 14 years since Andy retired from Grosse Pointe Farms where he served for 27 years as their City Manager. Prior to moving to Grosse Pointe Farms, Andy and Kathy lived on the west side of the state where they met while attending Hope College. Per his wishes, Andy was cremated and a private service was held in his honor. Memorial contributions may be made to Christ United Methodist Church, 34385 Garfield Road, Fraser, MI 48026.
