BREMER _ Martin (Insp. R.C.M.P., Retired); Passed away suddenly at St.Mary's General Hospital on January 28, 2006 in his 61st year.
Martin Bremer of New Hamburg formerly of British Columbia. Beloved husband of Patricia (Taylor) Bremer for 38 years. Loving father to Jay and his wife Pam of Coquitlam, B.C., Chris of Vancouver, B.C. and Tyler and Sommer Scott ofMilverton.
Survived by his sisters Helen Higgins and Jane Schuphof. Survived also by his father-in-law James Taylor, sister-in-law Carol Rintche and her husband Nick and brother-in-law Bill Taylor his wife Nancy.
Martin will besadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents Hilbert and Mary Bremer, his mother-in-law Loretta Taylor and his brother-in-law Jan Schuphof.
Marty served 27 years with the R.C.M.P. in B.C. and in Ontario. Upon retiring Marty took up a position with the B.C. Transit Security (Translink) for 10 years, before finally retiring back to Ontario in 2003. On final retirement, Marty became an active member of the Preston Scout House Alumni Band.
Friends were invited to join the Bremer family at the Henry Walser Funeral Home (507 Frederick St., Kitchener 519-749-8467) on Wednesday, February 1 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service for Martin (Marty) will be held on Thursday, February 2nd at 11 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel.
